I have been purchasing this particular Methylated vitamin only this year, 2024. After a doctor diagnosed my child with homozygous MTHFR C677T in 2020 with strict instructions that she restrict her folate intake to only a methylated version, we started supplementing her with an expensive prescribed methylated folate that our prescription plan did not cover. OTC vitamins didn’t seem to have methylated versions in stores so research led me to look for one containing Quatrefolic version of folate and to look for a methylated B-12. Circa 2023, I decided to look for a multi-vitamin for my own personal health. It was at that time we discovered that our entire family has Folate and B-12 methylation issues due to homo & heterozygous MTHFR and homozygous MTRR. We also have Vitamin D absorption issues. So here we are. I do like that they are 3rd party tested and are manufactured in an FDA certified facility using pharmaceutical grade materials here in the USA.

I finally got around to trying this item for myself after having recommended it to others I know, and even having bought it for a family member in the past (who I just found out had to discontinue using it shortly after starting it). For me I started having heat flashes, my whole body became extremely achy in the joints especially, and I was urinating a lot. The other thing that I'm not sure whether it was related or not, but the symptoms were noticeable after using this B Complex, were a pins and needles sensation in my legs and feet, arms and hands, sometimes my face and head while I was trying to sleep. Obviously this interrupted sleep. The pins and needles symptoms seemed to be there while I was awake but not as bad possibly because I was moving around. As someone with several MTHFR mutations I really wanted this to work, and after my other brand ran out, I decided to finally try this one as I love the concept of the company (pure supplements), but I was brand loyal to another company with my B Complex for years. For me anyway, I'll go back to my other brand as I never had the effects from that B supplement as I had upon starting this one, unfortunately. Again, I think this company is good, but this item did not work for me at all.
