What is Vitamin K2?

Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble nutrient and is needed to support normal blood coagulation, cardiovascular health, and bone strength & density.

Vitamin K2 is also crucial for many other areas of human health; it supports healthy skin, strong hair, brain function, hormone balance and much more. 

Because fat-soluble nutrients are sometimes hard to absorb, and can be less bioavailable than water-soluble nutrients, we encased both forms of Vitamin K2 in a phospholipid coating (liposomes) to ensure maximum absorption and bioavailability.

The trans form of MK-7 Vitamin K2 is the most absorbable form of Vitamin K2 as MK-7 because it's found in nature & whole foods and is recognized as bioidentical and absorbed by the body. The cis form of MK-7 is not nature-identical and has limited activity & absorption. Please beware of other K2 supplements that do not make this important distinction.

Our MK-4 form of Vitamin K2 is produced from Geraniol, which is extracted from the geranium flower. Our MK-4 form of Vitamin K2 is also 100% trans form. It is sourced from chickpea fermentation (garbanzo bean) and of the absolute highest quality.
