If you're looking to add protein to your life, your taste buds might thank you right now for reading this. Protein shakes make boosting your daily protein intake fast and easy, and with some creativity, they can spark a world of color and flavor that will quiet even the loudest of sweet tooth attacks.

Protein is essential for weight loss, as it helps boost your metabolism by building more muscle mass. It also can curb your appetite.

Many vegan protein powder options are popping up on the market today, but be sure to do your research and read labels carefully. It's important to also know where the raw materials are sourced. According to a recent study on the purity of protein powders, many known brands were found to include ingredients such as arsenic, lead and other dangerous heavy metals as well as BPA (a known endocrine disruptor), pesticides and biotoxins, which are linked to cancer and neurological diseases.

Rushed for time and on-the-go? It's simple and easy to mix protein powders with filtered water and have a great-tasting snack or meal replacement. However, to add pizzazz, it's fun and nearly effortless to enhance the flavor by adding other healthy ingredients to make it your own.

This is what fitness and yoga instructor, Dawn Bradley (also known as thatveganfitnessgirl on Instagram, puts into action on a regular basis, using both our Daily Vegan Protein and Vegan GI-Tox (formerly known as IntestiCleanse) in her creations. In fact, she was the winner of our IntestiCleanse renaming contest, and who better to win than someone who knows firsthand the nutrient-rich, detoxifying benefits of our product.

Dawn says this about why she chooses our vegan protein products: "Pure ingredients are important to me. I love that Pure TheraPro Rx has nothing artificial, no fillers and no GMOs."

This is a fact. All of our products are third party laboratory tested post-production for potency, heavy metals and other contaminants. Our lab has the highest level of certification “NSF” and is also cGMP Certified (Current Good Manufacturing Process) with strict FDA compliance. These are a few of the measures Pure TheraPro Rx uses to ensure the consistent quality and potency of our formulas. In addition, our production facility and formulas have physician and scientist oversight. We are also meticulous to ensure our supplements are free of all common allergens. In other words, what is on the label must be in the bottle - no fillers, no excipients, no junk.

All products are made in the USA; no raw materials are from China. Unlike most other supplement companies, the ingredients that go into our supplements are not selected based on cost. Instead, they are selected based on purity (to ensure contaminants such as microbes and heavy metals comply with regulatory GMP requirements), potency, and chosen based on successful scientific research. Additionally, patented ingredients are utilized when appropriate.

Whether you’re looking to simply add quality organic pea protein into your life with our Daily Vegan Protein in rich, naturally flavored vanilla or you need a bit more support with added vitamins and minerals and gentle detoxifying ingredients such as our  IntestiCleanse (soon to be renamed Vegan GI-Tox), our protein powders are a perfect complement to your busy, health-conscious lifestyle and can help support your wellness goals. It's also sweet to know that both products are only sweetened with monk fruit, which has proven anti-inflammatory benefits and contains zero sugars and zero carbs!

Here are some of Dawn’s favorite creations that you can try out at home with either one of our protein powders, dependent on your individual needs:

Many nutritional organizations recommend approximately 56 grams of daily protein intake for men and 46 grams daily for women, but these guidelines are general and intended for your average American, who might lead a more sedentary lifestyle than you do. If you're active, workout regularly or have specific nutritional needs based on nutrient deficiencies, age or chronic illness, you might require more. Vegan protein powders such as our Daily Vegan Protein and Vegan GI-Tox (formerly IntestiCleanse) make it easy and delicious to meet these requirements.
