Have a Sweet Tooth?
Satisfy it with a Fruit Smoothie: a blend of fruit and milk or coconut water. Smoothies are not only yummy, but nutritious at the same time. They make a perfect pick-me-up when energy is running low.
Fruit is naturally sweet and full of nutrients: antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Smoothies provide a delicious way to take advantage of this spectrum of vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants. They offer plenty of fiber, which supports digestion. Fruit smoothies also empower your immune system.
You’ll never let fruit go to waste again. Rinse and dry ripe soft fruit. Then cut out any portion which is turning brown. Except for bananas… Don’t throw out brown bananas, they’re at the sweetest point and perfect for a smoothie!
Most times when you purchase a smoothie out, there is added sugar. Beats me why, because fruit is so sweet, especially bananas.
